Nicole strives to make learning fun while challenging students to develop into mature musicians. She offers beginning, intermediate, and advanced violin lessons to students ages 2 to 92.
Nicole Cox offers violin lessons using the Suzuki method which mimics the way children learn their mother tongue and emphasizes learning music by ear over reading musical notation. This method parallels language acquisition, where a child learns to speak before learning to read.
For students 6 years old or above; depending on skill level, she also offers music theory and muscianship lessons.

& Friends in Concert 2010
Congratulations to all the young Suzuki violin students who performed so beautifully at our concert in September 2011. A special thank you also to our many talented guest performers who made the day a real treat for all of us.
The Newcastle Suzuki Violin & Friends charity concert raised $4,688.73 for Newcastle John Hunter Hospital children's program. The John Hunter will use this money to purchase 100 Buzzy devices to "take the sting out of shots” for children.
